Upgrading Your Plan

Walk through the upgrade process step by step — from choosing a new tier to confirming payment and seeing your new limits take effect.

Step 1: Choosing a New Plan

To upgrade, navigate to the Plans page from the sidebar. Each plan card displays an Upgrade button if that tier is higher than your current subscription. Your current plan's card will show a "Current Plan" label instead of an upgrade button.

Review the features and limits on the plan you want, then click the Upgrade button on that plan's card to begin the process.

Pro Tip: Before upgrading, toggle between monthly and annual billing at the top of the Plans page to compare pricing. Annual billing offers significant savings — look for the "Save up to 34%" badge.

Step 2: Reviewing the Confirmation Modal

After clicking Upgrade, a confirmation modal appears with a clear summary of the changes you're about to make. The modal displays:

  • Current Plan — the tier you're on right now and what you're paying.
  • New Plan — the tier you're upgrading to and its regular price.
  • Due Today — the exact amount that will be charged immediately. This reflects the prorated difference between what you've already paid for the current billing period and the cost of the new tier for the remainder of that period.
  • Prorated Credit — the unused portion of your current plan that is credited toward the upgrade cost, so you never pay twice for the same period.
Note: Proration means you only pay the difference for the remaining days in your current billing cycle. If you're halfway through a month and upgrade, you'll be charged roughly half the price difference between the two tiers.

Step 3: Confirming the Upgrade

Once you've reviewed the details in the confirmation modal, click the Confirm Upgrade button to proceed. The payment is processed through Stripe using the payment method you have on file.

After successful payment, you'll see a success message confirming that your plan has been upgraded. The new tier's limits and features take effect immediately — there is no waiting period.

You are then redirected to Settings where you can verify your updated subscription details, see your new billing amount, and manage your payment method if needed.

Step 4: Verifying Your New Plan

After the redirect, check the Settings page to confirm everything is in order:

  • Your subscription section should show the new tier name and price.
  • Navigate to any page with tier limits (like Projects) to confirm the increased capacity.
  • Items that were previously in the Locked tab should now be accessible if they fall within your new tier's limits.
Pro Tip: After upgrading, revisit any features you couldn't access before. Higher tiers unlock capabilities like SMS messaging, advanced scheduling, and AI-powered tools that can significantly streamline your workflow.
